Langkawi, 3 December 2009: Composites Technology Research Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CTRM) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC). The MoU will focus on the collaboration to enhance Lean Enterprise Philosophy through Quality and Productivity perspectives.
Chief Executive Officer of CTRM, Datuk Rosdi Mahmud says that with this MoU, both parties will provide the appropriate collaboration and interconnection for the development of Productivity and Quality (P&Q) Programme. The objective is to improve the development and implementation of the P&Q Programme, such as the Quality Environment and ICC activities.
The collaboration will be divided into few phases. Phase One, will focus on the enhancing of CTRM LEAN training and deployment programme, human capital development toward quality and productivity initiatives and project involvement methodology for all levels towards Voice of Customer.
In phase Two, it will focus on the standardisation and verification of manual, people and Lean Enterprise Excellence Programme recognition and flow & linkage towards government’s goal (GLC transformation programme).
In the final phase, it will be on the standardisation of rewards scheme towards sustainability of continuous improvement culture, benchmarking and leadership aspiring and develop Lean Training Centre for talent management programme.
At the signing ceremony, Datuk Rosdi Mahmud represents CTRM, while En Mohd Razali Hussain, Director General, represents the MPC. YAB Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin Yassin, witnesses the ceremony.
