  • CCC'19, EMBED THE CULTURE OF INNOVATION IN THIS YEAR'S EVENT

    The 2nd annual CTRM COIN Convention was held at Melaka Trade Centre attended by 226 participants. Themed Culture of Innovation, this years convention has attracted 14 number of presentations with 10 teams shortlisted for final presentation during the event. Aimed at promoting Cost Optimization activities across the company, the event was strategically organized to encourage more staff participation and the sharing of knowledge.

  • Charity Begins at Our Second Home, CTRM

    CTRM Waqaf Corner, a noble initiative by the management to help lessen the financial burden of the lower income personnel and trainees in purchasing meals during working hours have received positive response from CTRM personnel of all levels. What started off as a small gesture of appreciation as part of Employee CSR program, the Waqaf Corner has now expanded to 2 kiosks with 2 more to be established soon. Based on ‘Free Market’ concept, the value of food donation has also increased tremendously from merely RM200 per month to RM1,000 per month for every kiosk. Our sincere thanks to all contributors. May this good deed leads to more ‘CTRM care’ culture activities

    The Anugerah Hijau Melaka (AHM) 2019, a recognition and appreciation award curated by Perbadanan Teknologi Hijau Melaka, named CTRM Aero Composites (CTRM AC) as Gold award recipient in ‘Green Project’ category for its effort in implementing green initiatives for the new building 6 (B6).

  • CTRM Team, The Captivators Conferred Gold Award in the ICQCC Japan

    The Captivators who represented CTRM, was conferred Gold Award at the 8th International Convention on Quality Control Circle (ICQCC) held at the Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo, a 2 year consecutive wins for the company after last year similar event held in Singapore. Bringing a project entitled Fiber Breakout Scrap Cost Reduction, it emphasizes on enhancing deburring method, reprogramming of NC cutting path and tool modification which impact in the cost saving reduction in scrap panel by 50%. Concurrently, this increase the overall effectiveness efficiency for more than 80%. A total of 352 teams participated in this event organized by Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE), and CTRM is one of the 48 teams selected to represent Malaysia. Congratulations to the team, and may this achievement inspires other teams to participate in the upcoming convention next year in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

  • CTRM SHOWCASE ITS HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT & TVET PROGRAM AT MALAYSIA AEROSPACE SUMMIT 2019 (MYAERO’19)

    The 3rd edition of MyAero’19 was recently held at Menara MITI KL attended by most aerospace and aviation industry players in the country. Themed ‘Industry Excellence Through People’, the focus of this year’s event is on Human Capital development and TVET program aimed to further explore the opportunities and initiatives in developing, nurturing and sustaining local talents for world business. Organized annually by NAICO (National Aerospace Industry Coordinating Office) with the support of relevant agencies under MITI, the one-day program was packed with activities including aerospace exhibition, symposium, research seminar and career talk. Other than industry players, various higher educational institutions also took part in the event.

  • MATRADE: Paris Air Show gives Malaysia´s aerospace industry a big boost

    Malaysia’s participation in the Paris Air Show recently has given a strong boost to the country’s aerospace industry, judging by the number of business-to-business meetings and the prospective business orders expected from the meetings, said Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) trade commissioner Badrul Hilal Hisham.
