Unmanned Systems Technology Sdn Bhd (UST) was incorporated on 15 January 2007. It is a joint venture company between CTRM, SCS Sdn Bhd and Ikramatic. UST will be responsible for R&D, manufacturing and marketing the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for ASEAN and the Middle Eastern market. The UAS will be utilised for commercial and defence purposes.

The idea of a joint collaboration in developing the local UAS was mooted by the YAB Deputy Prime Minister during LIMA 2007. The rationale was to maximise limited resources and expertise in the development of local UAS.

With pooled resources and expertises, it would help in creating a better UAS product and to avoid the duplication of efforts. Thus ensuring a marketable UAS, which will suit customers’ requirements and specifications.

UST will be focusing on the development, product integration and marketing of UAS locally as well as in the Middle East region. It will also develop the Unmanned Systems for land and sea application in the near future.

It will also provide aerial services such as photography, imagery sensors and after sales supports of the supplied systems.
