Composites Engineering Sdn Bhd (Company No. 322177-V)
CTRM Automotive is currently known as CTRM Composites Engineering Sdn Bhd (CTRM CE) was incorporated in 2005. Its main objective at the time of its incorporation was to introduce composites application into the local automotive industry.
True to its objective, CTRM CE had successfully manufacture the Carbon Fibre Spoilers for the national car, Proton Satria GT R3. With this success, Lotus Cars, UK, had also awarded it with contract to manufacture a composites body shell for Lotus Europa S.
With the new name and business directions, CTRM CE will no longer focus on the automotive industry. It is now involved in the manufacturing of high-end composites applications for all market segments. This will be a mixture of high commercial value, long-term and high prospective value contracts.
To date, it has successfully manufactured composites RADOME panels for the Royal Malaysian Air Force. It is now fulfilling its contract obligation to manufacture catamaran vessels for LeisureCat Australia. This is the first maritime contract for CTRM CE in particular and for CTRM as a whole.
In the future, CTRM CE will diversify its business activities into new segments and applications. These will include the manufacturing of composites structures for Rails, Air Traffic Control, Wind Energy, RADOME (civilian applications) and etc.
