CTRM Aviation Sdn Bhd is a wholly owed subsidiary of CTRM. It was incorporated ion 26 February 1990. CTRM AV was first involved in the manufacturing ad assembly of composites light aircraft, the Eagle 150B. The project was seen as the first major step taken by CTRM in positioning itself as one of the most preferred composites aero component manufacturer globally.

Apart from manufacturing and assembly, it also provides refurbishments, upgrading and systems integration for light aircraft. A part of its core business focuses on lease and maintenance services for individual and corporate aircraft owners, including local and international Flying Academies.

CTRM AV is boldly making its presence felt by diversifying its business operations to strengthen itself in the local and regional General Aviation (GA) industry. One of its goal is to provide full fledge Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service centre for light aircrafts in the GA industry, The Malaysian Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) awarded CTRM AV with the Approved Maintenance Organisation Certification in August 2007. With this accreditation, CTRM AV now performs maintenance on 37 light aircrafts such as the Eagle 150B, Cessna 300, Cessna 400, Diamond 42 and Cirrus SR20G3.

DCA Malaysia has also approved its engineers to sign the Certificate Release to Service (CRS) for other types of light aircrafts, such as the Diamond DA40 and DA42, Piper PA34 and PA28 and Cirrus SR203G. CTRM AV has spread its wings with seven out-of-based locations Malaysia and Thailand, providing a comprehensive, safe, efficient and economical Out-Of-Based Maintenance to its customers.

Currently, its technicians and engineers are based in Ipoh, Kota Bahru and Bintulu. CTRM AV also provides maintenance services in Subang, Johor Bahru, Sandakan and Bangkok.
